Self-Care Made Simple
It's easy to say that you are too busy to take care of yourself and to prioritize everything else in your life because self-care can be too much effort. Here is what I have to say about making it simple. It's not about not having the time. It's about you not making your health and energy a priority.
Don't worry. You can shift that in an instant and get back on track.
1)Breathe into Your Belly
I know it sounds cliche but taking just a few deep breaths can complete shift your chemical and emotional makeup. This can be something that can transform your energy in moments. Our breath is often shallow when we are in a state of stress. If you can draw your awareness to arrive (right below your navel) and focus on filling your belly with air, not just the lungs.
2) Use Essential Oils
It is easy to shift your energy with smell. "The "smell" receptors in your nose communicate with parts of your brain (the amygdala and hippocampus) that serve as storehouses for emotions and memories. When you breathe in essential oil molecules, some researchers believe they stimulate these parts of your brain and influence physical, emotional, and mental health. 3) Practice Yoga
